CRAFT DAY WITH MOM

I went home to see the 'rents this weekend. Little Bro just turned 22 - I guess he's not so little anymore - so I had to go give him his birthday card and $22 (yes - unoriginal but whatever). Dad wasn't feeling too good (please pray for him) but mom and I had a chance to craft! I learned how to hook, knit, and make these little photo book covers. Anyway - we made some cute little hooked ribbons in funky colors and made little wall hangings out of them - shabby chic? I think that's the term?? Knitting didn't go so well for me so I put that aside for another weekend. And then I made a little photo album cover with some wool that mom had from hooking. It is pink and has a little pink ribbon on it (more shabby chic??)

Anyway - just check out the pictures. I'm hoping to sell them for $20 and all proceeds will go to my breast cancer fund-raising goal. I haven't decided how I'm going to go about "selling" them for donations - I may start a pay pal store.... but if you want one just let me know - email me at pam@pilotdesigns.com.

Inside of photo book (obviously)

If you are interested in donating $20 and getting one of these ribbons or the photo album - just email me at pam@pilotdesigns.com. The ribbons come with the curled wire perfect for hanging on the wall, on door knob, or in a cubicle. It's a great gift for a survivor or a cheer up gift for someone currently battling cancer. The photo album is great for a walker for their memories. I'll be making more of these in a variety of colors and designs. If you have a personal request for a style - let me know and I'll see if I can do it!!

Oh my goodness! Those are SO cute. I will have to buy one of those too when I make the donation. And your blog is even more adorable than before. It has a French feel, which I adore.

Hope you have a good week!

Laurie
