Mother's Day Relaxing Pink
Mother's Day is coming up - and we have a Market Day the week before! What a great gift to a mother, survivor, or anyone needing a moment to themselves. These SUPER CHEAP AND EASY bath salts will hopefully be a big hit at market day.
All I did was take 2 cups of Epsom Salts
10 drops soap coloring (at Michaels)
10 drops of your favorite essential oil or soap sent (Michaels has a TON of scents)
Mix it up in a sandwich bag and you are done!
I selected a variety of containers which we will sell for different price levels.
I'm thinking the white lunch bags will be $4
Gladware containers will be $5
Chinese Take out type container and Flower Pail $8
We are going to dump the Epsom Salts in a big bucket and as kids, dads, sisters... anyone comes up they can basically pick their color, fragrance and container and make a custom gift for whoever!!

Now for the ACTUAL cost involved...
Lunch bag setup: lunch bag, sandwich bag, 2 cups salts, scent, color: 70cents
Gladware setup: gladware, 2cups salts, scent, color: 89cents
Take Out & Flower Pail setup: Pail, 2cups salts, scent, color: $1.67
I got the gladware 4/$1 at the dollar store - they had all different lid colors.... orange, blue, purple & pink. The chinese food containers were $1 each but had a TON of colors and patterns at the dollar store and at Michaels. They are plastic - so they are reusable. The pails were $1 each at the dollar store and I have 4 different patterns in different colors... I just photographed the pink one. They are all adorable!!
Anyway - I'll let you know how they sell at market day!!

Me again... I was embarrassed to see that I already had a link to your blog on my blog, so clearly I'd visited here before. In any case, I hope you don't mind that I have you a Shout Out in my post tonight. I love all of the stuff you're doing to fundraise for the 3-day!
